Teds Home Store does not honour their word regarding a guarentee.

I had purchased a maxwell black upper leather lounge suite on the 05/11/2020 which carries a 2 year leather warranty,2 year structure warranty,and a 1 year mechanism warranty. The set is not even a year old and has damages at the seams on the seating area which is due to non of my negligence.I have reported this damage through to teds home store and have received response that i will be liable for repair costs,what type of guarentee is this store offering to their customers. The cost of this lounge set was R22999 and this is the ridiculous service from such a reputable store.
