poor quality leather for lounge suite

I've purchased a leather lounge set from Teds homestore 3 years ago. I have complained to the owner that the leather is constantly tearing & 2 of the 4 recliner mechanism are broken. I do not have the warranty slip. the comment from the owner is the best he can do is provide transport no charge for the leather to be re-upholstered at our cost. Considering we purchased genuine leather & we've treated the lounge set with leather cream every week, the only result is their quality is not up to standard. I'm sure the owner could be more accommodating considering the price we've paid
