i got a call late last year from a lady from this company, selling me a data package, she repeated to me over and over again that its not a contract and i can cancel it at anytime, the agreement was for R89.99, that is ALL i agreed to, few days later a gentleman from the same company called me telling me he's calling me to activate my package, he spoke and said whatever he was saying, i kept hearing him telling me about other services i ddnt agree to and telling me about amounts i ddnt agree to initially with the first person who called me, i asked this gentleman if he's selling me a different package and if i will be charged for all these things he's mentioning to me, he said to me "no ma'm whatever agreement you had with the previous agent who called you will remain the same, i am changing nothing" i kept asking him over and over again because in his fast speaking i wanted to clearly understand and also make it clear to him that i have agreed to the package that is R89.99 and i dont want anything else added that im going to be charged for, he repeatedly reassured me that he's not adding anything else to the R89.99 ive agreed to, much to my surprise the next few days debit orders of things i dont know where going off my account, i was unemployed at the time, debit orders kept returning and i was being charged by my bank, i called them immediatly and told them to cancel everything because i will not deal with a company thats going to lie to me, after i have made it explicitly clear to that man who called me not to add any extra charges on my agreement, he reassured me blatantly lying to me to get his sales up or whatever, not giving a flying **** what happens to me, whether or not i can afford or manage all these costs i have repeatedly asked to not be added, i had not even received any of the services, they promised to cancel but the debit orders kept going off regardless, i started working about 2months later, my account was a whole mess caused by this company, all those debit orders they kept taking from my account and some that kept returning and my bank charging me for them, i put in about R800 in my account and these people cleaned up my account, i have all the bank statement to show this, i called them again, only to be told that my request for these things to be cancelled was not done, i was not receiving or using any of their services, i had asked them to cancel this thing but they were still busy in my account taking money, i dont know what kind of business these people are running but ive had the worst experience, your sales people are just ***** and don't care about what problems they causing to people, clearly only caring about meeting tartgets
