Tech5 unanswered queries
Hi,
Tech5 are generally a good fibre provider i.e. they generally provide good service. However I have noticed that if you have a query that might cost them to address they will generally ignore you. it has happened to me so often I have begun to think it is a company tactic.
If I have internet problems they seem t be answered or resolved fairly quickly. However I have over time queried billing, internet speeds, faulty IP telephone equipment, downtimes etc. and I generally get no response. This seems to be their modus operandi. Right now I am still waiting to hear why I have been charged R889 per month for a service of 50/50 while 1. Only getting 50/5, and 2. That service begin offered by them for R785.
So what have they done? 1. Dropped my price to R785, and 2. Upgraded me to 100/100 which they were doing for everyone. but questions about how long I was overpaying for a service I wasn't even receiving and what compensation I should get get go unanswered. So I'd like them answered now.
Tech5 have upgraded my line so I am grateful for that.
But in line with expectations there is no news on compensation for the months I was charged above their offered rate for the 50/50 service while at the same time only receiving a 50/5 service.
Also their policy is not acceptable. Their response to the complaint was essentially 'We do not change the charges unless the customer requests it.'.
Is there anyone out there that is happy to pay a higher rate for the same service from the same provider when a lower rate is available?
