DO NOT TOUCH TECH 5

If there was an option to give a minus rating on this company I would have definately done that! I was recommended to use Tech 5 as my ISP by one of their satisfied clients, and sadly I have to leave this review to advise other prospective clients to stay away from Tech 5 as far as possible due to their ********* behaviour and total lack of transparency. DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE! In April 2023 I signed up with them and although they asked whether I would like to pay by EFT or Debit order, they suggested that i pay by debit order ( now I know why ) and I agreed that they would debit my monthly subscription on the 1st of each month and provided the required banking details to them. I've noticed that they were not submitting a debit order for the service after 2 months and I contacted THEM to advise them, and their beyond USELESS accounts department informed that that I need to log into the TECH 5 portal and I will see my invoice prior to month end each month which would be debited on the 1st as agreed. I did that every month and yet the invoices had a big red "PAID" and no balances/invoices outstanding. I again contacted TECH 5 and asked them what was going on and I was advised that they have never loaded my debit order at all and that my account is now in arrears for all the months since installation. TECH 5's failure to submit my debit order as agreed on signing up with them, resulted in my account going into arrears, and NOT ONCE, was I contacted by them to advise that that is the problem, but I HAD to contact them numerous times to resolve this. Going forward I opted to pay my account by EFT, although they decided to try debit my account monthly with various amounts which my bank returned due to it not being the amount the debit order was for. They then have the audacity to hand me over to lawyers to collect the arrears while terminating my services and charging me for the equipment they installed! That part I'm currently dealing with with their lawyers and mine.

In the interim however, I feel I should warn potential clients who reads these reviews, NOT to use TECH 5 and after reading various other reviews on other platforms as well, I've realised that I should never have used them in the first place as they have zero ethics and creates situations by having inefficient people working for them, and then ends up fighting it on legal grounds.

They will hand you over to lawyers without contacting you once to advise you of their INTENT to HAND you over as required by law.

You can forget to get contacted by any form of management once you escalate any matter! I have even requested a meeting in person which I was advised they will not do and that you can't speak to management so you are basically left in the highly inefficient and useless hands of the people who created the problem in the first place!

I would never have used TECH 5 if I did my homework better, they are highly *********.
