TaxTim Saved Me a Headache

I've never submitted a tax return before so this seemed like it would be an extremely complicated and overwhelming process. However, TaxTim came free with my medical aid rewards program (Momentum Multiply) so I figured, since I didn't have a clue where to begin on my own, why not give it a whirl? TaxTim is basically a chatbot which asks you very simple, straight-forward questions, and then uses the information provided to fill in your tax return on your behalf and to submit this to SARS. Example question: Check your IRP5 form from your employer, find code 4005, enter the amount that appears next to this code. It's a lot like colour-by-numbers ... and I reckon it's way easier than trying to figure out your tax return on your own ... :) :) :) In addition, your progress is saved after each step and you can stop and start the process as you please. As I've never submitted a tax return before, I was hopelessly unprepared, so this was very helpful as it gave me the opportunity to leave and hunt down the necessary documents as required.
