Medical insurance

So I’m not sure where and what u still need to do but I was in a accident and I went threw the medical insurance Elixi unity health.

When the accident happened I wasn’t required a Mri Scan at that time I went for it afew days later . This medical insurance didn’t pay for the Mri scan because it was need to be pre authorization, I could not get a letter from my Dr because the Dr sent me to the orthopedic surgeon and he then said I needed to go for a MRI scan. I payed cash for the Mri scan and the medical insurance was not bothered about me needing to go.

It’s been 2months later I need to under go an operation for my foot that I was in a accident with and I made contact with them and they were very blunt and said that they would not cover anything.

So what is the use I have this medical insurance I am going to cancel it because they treat customers the way they want to treat us and every month they debit the money and the treatment I’m getting from them I’m disgusted in it and I pay like R700 and something and I’m getting the worst from them . My operation is costing me R69,757.36 and I need to go an borrow that money in order for me to do this operation now. I am disgusted in the way they treat loyal customers .
