Zero communication and no delivery after "shipping" a week ago

I have spent more money than i can remember on Takealot and had them pegged as my go to online store up until a few years ago when i could see the titanic aiming for an iceberg.

I ordered a set of items last week (5th of Dec) and they were supposedly shipped off on the same day. Received my sms for delivery stating they will deliver it before 5pm Friday the 8th .So i duly waited after work till 5 with no courier company in sight. I have not received any re schedule for the delivery nor does the delivery sms state any number for me to contact the courier company to find out where it is. The goods were ordered for a client and i now sit with my finger up my ass looking unreliable because 'fast and furious couriers' took after the parody and not the franchise .

This will be my last purchase from them and is why i am writing this review. If you enjoy **** poor communication and delivery times that will make Schrodinger proud then Takealot is the shop for you. It is deeply disappointing to see a company that was the 'Go to' store fall so far from where it used to be.

I will not recommend anyone purchase from this store and if it stipulates the store they are acting as a middle man for on the item go direct to them if possible as you will have far less stress and hassles to say the least.
