You're just a customer

I placed an order for a pressure washer which was scheduled to arrive on the 24th of July as per sms's... Emails.... Etc that I have received from Takealot.com, in knowing that the delivery will take place anytime from 9am till 5pm I take the day off to ensure that I am home for the delivery. With this done I am unable to leave the house as I might miss the delivery, so I stay home and wait all day for nothing to happen..... I call in to the contact center the next day and speak to an adviser called "Bob". Who tells me that they have an issue with their courier "skynet" and that he will be chasing the delivery up with them. I sent an email on the Facebook page also explaining my situation and got a response from "Nomampondo Kohlani" who completely ignores the fact that the delivery is late... Ignores the fact that I took a day unpaid for a delivery that did not happen.... And then also to make matters worse I get an sms from takealot at 5am this morning which says delivery was attempted...... Who attempts delivery at 5am...the sms woke my 2yr old and I was left to stay up with him all morning... The item has now been delivered.... And I have yet to get an apology from Takealot.com... A mail to say how they are handling all of this.... Or something..... It seems as though this is just business as usual for them....
