XBOX POWER SUPPLY DISAPOINTMENT

Normally everything I order is in prestine condition ...not this time. Ibought a power supple adaptor for my xbox one and I literally just opened the package and plugged it into my xbox to start playing some games...to my suprise the thing does not even work. There is supposed to be a red LED light for when it has power but is turned off and a green LED light to show everything is working...there is not even a Red LED light and no matter what i tried with my old power supplies...nothing works

This is not how a company like TAKEALOT.com is supposed to ship its items ..electronic or not .
