Wrong, ***ual nature product sent to a 10 years old as a Christmas gift!

I have placed my order on time, on the 13/12/2016. The ordered contained 3 items, out of which one was a Christmas gift for my 10 years old son.

The order confirmation specified that the delivery will take place by the 19/12/2016. When I have followed up with them, the consultant apologized and informed me that my order was still in the warehouse, not yet planned for delivery; most probably forgotten about.

After escalating the matter and several phone calls, my order has been finally delivered on the 22/12/2016. However, to my surprise, one item was missing - the item meant to be the gift for my son.

The same day I have contacted again Takealot to escalate now the issue with the missing item.

This morning, the courier arrived with the 'missing' item, and I felt a sense of relieve. To my dismay, the item delivered was not only the wrong item but it was of a ***ual nature, and my son was standing next to me, exited to see his gift.

Takealot not only sent the wrong product (for Xbox One instead for PS4) but also had the audacity to stick the sticker with the description of the product I've ordered over this one, in the attempt to address the mess they've already done with this order.

Obviously, I have immediately logged to return the item.

Does Takealot think that we are idiots and not notice when they try to cover their incompetence?!

On a second thought, maybe we, the customers, are to blame as we are keeping ordering from them despite their appalling service...

Thank you Takealot for destroying my son's Christmas!!!
