Wrong size delivered, now have to wait for refund

<p>Hi,</p> <p>I have always been a fan of Takealot.com, and even had a nickname at work because of all my orders. However, the latest service I received for order was pathetic.</p> <p>I order and paid for a sneaker, all OK, until TakeAlot packed and delivered the Wrong size. Not only was it a wrong size, but another customer's slip was in my box. Also, the wrong size they delivered was not even an option on the website and still isn't. To make matters worse, the size I order and paid for was now suddenly out of stock.</p> <p>I complained as the same thing happened to me in January 2016. Then they had the nerve to refund the money back to my TakeAlot account instead of to my bank account as I had requested. Now I not only had to go through the inconvenience of having to take and upload photos for them (as if I was making it up), they just shrug me off with their meaningless apology and said they were unable to investigate what went wrong. The only person who was helpful was Whitney, who escalated the matter.</p> <p>Bottom line is: don't advertise what you cannot deliver, and surely after 8 months you should have been able to rectify the so-called picklist issue. The service from TakeAlot in this regard was pathetic and the nonchalant attitude - other than for Whitney - doesn't bode well for customer service. Makes one wonder what the purpose of awards are.</p> <p>So now I have to wait for my refund.</p> <p> </p>
