Wrong parcel delivered

I am not sure if anyone has experienced this. I bought an iphonr on takealot and what was delivered was a cheap laser detector. This comes after the phone delivered a day later. Takealot says they packed and shipped the correct item(iphone) I am not disputing that, but all I'm saying is that I dud not get what I bought. I was told investigations are under way but every few days I get told that my case is closed and they are sorry for any inconvenience cause. What about my money, the phone? I feel I was mislead because I returned the product and I was told I need to accept it because they won't be able to credit me if they dispose of the product.

Can the driver and myself not be polygraph tested. It is so painful to lose hard earned money just like that. Can anyone who has experienced a similar service or who has experience what I can do in this situation?
