Wrong Item Delivered - Return Taking Forever

I ordered some new memory for my laptop. 4 days later a laptop battery was delivered. I logged it for return immediately and the item was collected in due course. I am still waiting for a refund 2 weeks later despite contacting customer services multiple times. Each time I just get the standard answer that "we are waiting for the item to be received at the warehouse ...". It's hard to imagine that something takes 2 weeks to get from my house to the warehouse, and in the meantime they refuse to issue a refund.
