Wrong item delivered
Takealot has this thing of delivering wrong items and when you ask for a replacement instead of refund they credit money on the Takealot account especially cheaper items and when you ask why its always the supplier out of stock excuse whereas its their fault. They gave us the run around till we gave up so they dont even deserve 1 star but 0 very poor service

12 Jul 2024, 06:04I shared an order with my sister using her account as my item was cheaper and didnt want to pay delivery, her items came in order besides mine. She called and was told she requested a refund instead of a replacement whereas she has proof on the email. I tried tweeting even Dmed using my acc as she doesnt have X (Twitter) and was told about POPIA, Takealot requested her to call back but why when she called the first time. We want a refund into the bank account not Takealot account as the item was less than R500 and I hope there wont be stories of the money being already on the Takealot account cos that was not the agreement from the beginning
