Wouldnt let me collect items from the depo before Shutdown that were waiting for delivery

Normally I have no problems with takealot.. HOWEVER... I had a non-essential package due for delivery 27 March 2020. The items had arrived at my local depo by the 26th March. After not being able to get through to the phone lines (which were later subsequently closed due to high volume). I decided to go to the depo to collect where I was told that because I selected delivery they could not give to me in person. Now the delivery is scheduled to after shutdown. I dont understand why, given the special circumstances, I could not collect my items. in person. The staff there were not helpful at all and told me I had to resolve via the phone lines which were not operating
