Worst service ever

I ordered safety boots on Takealot on the 13th of December. I was told that it would take 5-7 working days. A few days later, my estimated delivery date was moved to the 27th of December. I attempted calling numerous times to find out what the delay is as this was a very urgent order. After calling around 6 different Takealot employees, I was eventually told “It’s probably because the boots come from a third party supplier who hasn’t shipped the stock to the Takealot Warehouse”. The 27th came and my order hasn’t even been shipped. I spent so long on the phone trying to figure out what’s happening. I phoned the tjird party supplier and they sent me the confirmation that the stock was already sent to the Warehouse on the 14th of December. I had to order the boots a second time directly from the supplier and pay a second time. Requested a refund from Takealot. They still couldn’t even have the decency to come back to me about what happened. Not even an email. This was absolutely ridiculous.
