Worst delivery service ever!

What terrible service from Takealot! This is the last time I order anything from them. I phoned 5x times this morning. Every time I am put on hold for at least 15-20 minutes waisting my call time before anyone answers. Then eventually when answered I was told when enquired regarding my delivery that the driver is 5-10 minutes from my home and my delivery is next. An hour later, still nothing! Phone again. Waited 20 minutes again before call was answered. Same story - delivery guy is in my area and has one more delivery so will be at my house within the next 10 minutes. Phone then again at 12:00 only to be told by the delivery guy will definitely be at my house by 12:30 latest. FIVE HOURS and three more calls LATER AND STILL NO DELIVERY GUY! This is totally unacceptable. I understand their delivery is scheduled for between 8 and 5 but I phoned as courtesy this to find out if Takealot can give me any better indication of estimated delivery time since we had plans to go out. They should not have given me a time indication then if it cannot be assured. They have waisted my whole day sitting and waiting at home to be here for the delivery. Why can’t Takealot or the delivery person phone 30-60 minutes before delivery so better arrangements can be made? Surely cannot expect a person to stay at home whole say from 8-5 waiting for a delivery which can be any time during this period?
