Wont provide refund on faulty item.

Faulty item since day one. After sent for warranty repair it broke the same day we got it back. They wont give a refund and only replace it. I do not want a model that is that faulty and cannot even be repaired properly. They then say as per the email from takealot - "Takealot is under no obligation to provide you with a credit, repair/replacement, as your remedy lies with the supplier or manufacturer." How is this possible. They sold me the item. How can you sell something and advertise on your retail site and not take responsibility. They then send me terms and conditions where the very first line says - "We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the product to us and we will either repair / replace it, or credit your account".

Its simple, I bought an item from takealot which gave problems and has broken twice already. I do not want this item due its faults and want a refund. Still havent heard from them. I hope people realize what a nightmare it is to return something broken to this company.

Now they say say they wont refund because its older than 6 months. The first repair took a whole month and was returned straight after when it broke immediately. Also its 6 months and 5 days. 5 days over the six months. Thats including the month I didnt have it when it was being repaired!!!!!

Now they are just ignoring me and matter says resolved online. Do they really think ignoring me that its going to go away.
