Why lie to your customers?

I often buy from Takealot and seldom have any issues, but recently I have found that I'm told that there is no stock of a certain product and it has been removed from my order, only to find that it is available - but at a higher price. I always top up my order so as not to have to pay for delivery. Those products, which were just fillers for what I really wanted, are going to be delivered, and the item that I did want, and which is clearly still available on the website, has been cancelled from my order - 10 days after my order was made.
