Why does takealot have a wish list????

First off all I am really disappointed with Takealot. Why add things to a wish list if you do not even get a notification when its on special??? I have been waiting for so long to purchase a Xiaomi Mi tv box from you guys only to find out from a friend that it was marked down to R1099 on black friday.....this Items has been in my wishlist for more than 3 weeks now!
