Why buy online locally?

Tried to make a purchase and was given a code as a first time buyer which proved impossible to redeem. When I clicked on the customer service rating request I was greeted with this message "This request is now closed. Unfortunately, that means the ticket can no longer be rated". I went to a shop in a mall and found a greater variety of items at the same price. I predict I will never redeem a first time user voucher.
