Where the hell is my order? !

<p>Ordered a harddrive. Delivery scheduled for 5 October.</p> <p>Courier arrives on 7 October. I open the package and realise they've delivered the wrong parcel.</p> <p>I call the courier - Skynet - "we cant help, we just pick up the parcels and deliver" - top class thanks.</p> <p>Call Mr Courier (the apparent delivery boss for Takealot) - " I will escalate this" - lovely sentence meaning I handle customer service but cant actually service the customer. "and come back to you" - Friday afternoon - no chance.</p> <p>Call Takealot - helpful lady listens to the problem and sends me the details for the person who has my package. Since I have his it makes sense to bypass the idiots at the courier companies.</p> <p>I decide to not drive the 120km round trip to collect my parcel and notify Takealot on 10 October.</p> <p>Takealot advises that my parcel will be collected from other person on 11 October and then delivered to me - nice.</p> <p>I ask Takealot when my parcel will be arriving - now 13 October. The guy doesn't remember dealing with me and insists he will........wait for it.......escalate the matter.</p> <p> </p> <p>Its now been 8 days since I ordered a harddrive which I really needed in a hurry.</p> <p> </p> <p>Very simple fix - send someone to collect my parcel and bring it to me. Then I can give that same person the parcel that belongs to the other chap for delivery to them. No need for escalators - we're all on the ground.</p> <p> </p> <p>Late delivery, wrong item, no backup. A real pity because my last order was executed very nicely.</p> <p> </p>
