What's going on??? Passing the buck regarding warranty return.

It has now been a month and a half since we returned a faulty Corsair RAM kit to you for replacement. Everyone we've been in contact with at Takealot claims to understand our frustration, and promises to assist, but thus far, nobody has actually been willing to help.

I've been told by one individual that the replacement is being sourced locally, another individual has told that it has to be replaced by Corsair.

It also appears that the RAM was returned to Rectron, which is a serious error on Takealot's part, as the RAM was supp**** by Corex.

Nobody seems to know what they're doing at Takealot, nor is anyone willing to take responsibility for this mess, or even simply assist.

We were in contact with Ian Strydom yesterday, who seems to have a clear understanding of our situation, but as far as email and phone support is concerned, it's not Takealot's problem.

Takealot used to be excellent regarding after-sales support. What happened? After the first 6 months, Takealot no longer cares about customer satisfaction.

This is extremely shortsighted in my opinion.

Takealot has certainly not done their utmost to deal with this situation.
Even though they took possession of the RAM kit, sent it off to "who knows where". They somehow seem to think they're not responsible.
So much time has already passed. Takealot has been nothing but vague, providing me with conflicting explanations and all I can do is take your word for it each time.
Takealot took possession of our RAM Kit, and sent it off somewhere at their discretion, and, after telling me that only they are allowed to deal with the supplier, are now telling me that it's not their problem, and offer to refund an amount equal to 75% of a replacement RAM kit.
Under what circumstance is this an acceptable business practice?
