This is what puts consumers off using Takealot:

Product advertised on Takealot as On Sale with 24% off and a price of R1,889 - and showing the original price to be R2,500.

But the product is widely available for around R1,200.

Hopefully the new SA Amazon will deal with ripoffs like this.
