What has happened to Takealot.com? Ordering from Takealot has turned into a gamble

What is happening to Takealot.com? What happened to Customer service?

We are shopping at Takealot.com a few times a month, but since 2022 the customer service from Takealot is non-existing. We ordered a Hisense Dishwasher through Takealot in July 22 023. The door of the dishwasher do not want to close, immediately we ordered a return which Takealot cancel every time. We tried phoning the non-existing Takealot number after several days we manage to speak to a lady whom informed us to take this up with Hisense. Hisense say this is not their problem and the dishwasher should be returned to Takealot.. Nobody is taking responsibility for R10 000 lost. We are starting to receive damaged stock. The damaged stock is then returned and after several weeks we get the response from Cermony.P that the return is rejected based on the fact that it has taken longer than 7 days. This same happened with a faulty Fitbit watch. I want to know am I the only person thinking that Takealot might be selling "grey imports". Buying from Takealot is currently a bad gamble.
