What happened to Takealot?

Takealot has clearly lost its mojo, judging by the slew of complaints to which I am now adding. I was sold a product as new when it was either second-hand or damaged somewhere in the process. I've sent email after email to try to solve this, and five attempted calls to the call centre went unanswered. So, no more Takelot purchases.
