WHAT A ****, AVOID STRESS DO NOT BUY FROM TAKEALOT

I have been a loyal Takealot customer for years even through minor disappointments I would overlook and go back. Recently I bought a charger (25W USB-C Fast Charging Adapter and Lightning Cable for iPhone) at Takealot. The first day I used it, it exploded and killed my phone. I logged a return query and also requested that that they reimburse me for the damage to my phone. The refund was processed successfully but Takealot is not willing to pay for the damages to my phone they are telling me that they will "not point fingers" to their suppliers because the charger might have had a factory fault. But why should I be paying for a factory fault??? no where on the product description does it say buy at your own risk. So I guess as their customer I do not mean anything to them. Save your self from the stress and STOP buying from Takealot, especially tech products.
