We are furnishing our Airbnb in rural western cape. So it made sense for us to order whatever we need and pick it up from Paarl South. When I ordered the items and before I paid takealot indicated that the items would arrive at the collection location within the allocated window period to pick up the items. I recieved a notice today saying that one item I ordered is available for collection and will expire if I don’t collect it before 14 November. If I knew that takealot was this unreliable I would have made alternative plans. And the best part is that they cannot correct the error on their side nor do they refund you cash. This is super stressful when trying to plan logistics remotely. Never again. We will furnish our airbnbs and rentals the old fashioned way. Its waaaay more reliable.
