Watch out for warranty issues

I bought a pc motherboard from Takealot, after being warned not to by so many people as they are notorious for rejecting items still under warranty. By it was cheaper than my local store so I bought it anyway. It later went faulty and I returned it for a warranty repair. I knew that Takealot often reject repairs so I had witnesses carefully check the board for damage and there was none. After ages of waiting the board was returned to me with physical damage! Takealot blame their supplier who won't deal with the public. They have been arrogant and *********** in their communication with me. Luckily I have been able to take to Facebook, Twitter and Hellopeter and I am able to warn consumers weekly of this issue, I have probably saved over 1000 people from making a bad retail choice already, and I hope to save 1000s more. Dont be stupid like I was, listen to the public and heed the warnings about the warranty and after sales service. Buy from a reliable store that won't let you down!

Hello llama01,

We are sincerely sorry that we were not able to replace or offer you a refund for your faulty item as the warranty was voided due to user damage.

Our team forwarded the suppliers evaluation as well as pictures confirming the above to you via email as requested.

As always, should you require any further clarity, you are welcome to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.
