Watch broken at Takealot and now they dont want to refund or repair

I bought a smar****ch from takealot.

Watch was delivered, but it was not working.

I returned it in the condition that I received it, but I was told it cant be replaced or repaired since it was suddenly broken with pics in tow. However, when I took the watch to Takealot it was not broken. I rep**** to the mail on 8 Sept and have not heard from them ever since.
