Waste of time

I placed an order and paid for a SUV roof rack on 31 August 2024.I wanted to speed up the delivery, so I opted to collect the order. I’m going on holiday next week and really need the roof rack. The website showed that the item is in stock. The first delivery date was today (9/92024).It then changed to 10/10/2024.It then changed to 14/9/2024 and then 16/9/2024.Today I received a mail to say that my order will be cancelled and I will receive a credit because the supplier is out of stock. I must now buy another roof rack while I'm waiting for a refund. I bought a roof rack from a local supplier and will collect tomorrow. I will not be supporting Takealot anymore
