Warranty? Not really relevant when buying a products, or is it?
Currently having the most frustrating experience with takealot. I bought a pressure cooker just over a year ago with a 2 year warranty. A few months ago the product stopped working, seems to be an electric fault. Now I'm not one to usually complain and left it for a bit until I realised I still have time left as part of the warranty. I made contact to request a return but the only response I keep getting from takealot is that the current product in stock similar to the one I bought only has 1 year warranty. It confuses me how this has any impact on the product I bought at the time with a 2 year warranty. No one from the company seems to be interested that this was a condition of my purchase. Excellent customer service does not mean changing the rules to suit the company needs. Does it????
