WARRANTY NOT COVERED FOR DEFECTIVE UPS SYSTEM

I bought a UPS system from takealot in August 2020. In Jan 2021 I noticed the UPS dies very quickly and barely lasts 2 hours where it used to last 4.5hrs at the beginning. I contacted takealot and they fetched the UPS. They insisted it came with a cable which was missing. This was not true as I purchased the cable separately from takealot. I agreed to return my cable and they just never arrived. I called in so many times and sent through MANY emails. Then I received the ups system yesterday AFTER 3 WEEKS with no proper feedback and the cord was collected on Monday AND NOT RETURNED. Takealot refuses to repair or replace the UPS with no valid reason. The people working in their call center are clueless on how to coordinate collections and deliveries. The ups unit was cheap and for it to not work properly after barely 6 months is unacceptable. It's obvious that takealot SELLS cheap equipment and they cannot uphold the warranty that they provide on their website. The ups is under warranty for 1 year. This company needs to be exposed as they are obviously robbing the public. I've supported them over many years and was even considering purchasing a TV from them. People need to know that there IS NO WARRANTY AT TAKEALOT, ITS JUST AN ADVERTISING TECHNIQUE TO GET PEOPLE TO BUY THEIR CHEAP USELESS PRODUCTS. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH THEIR POOR BUSINESS ETHICS. It's very difficult to speak to anyone at takealot, the call centre has you on hold for over 5 to 10 minutes before your call is answered.
