Warranty ****,
Re: CF - RRN-85WNA-EVWG When the warranty has not been invalidated they are blaming the customer for the damage. Giving false diagnoses by poorly trained technicians who are not qualified to check/inspect and service the machines they have under warranty.
My robotic vacuum lost suction and it was under warranty. Now I am a technical person, but I cannot open the machine because it would void the warranty. I know what is causing a loss of suction, but I cannot open it. So I sent it back. Fast forward a month and after many complaints I am blamed CID for the unit not working because the vacuum which collects dust is dirty. I am so shocked to find dirt inside a dirt-sucking machine. What exactly were they expecting? It cleans dirt, it gets dirty every day. Hence why we buy them to clean filth. It is not a laptop, its a vacuum.
They said the unit had burnt out and sent it back. Now the warranty is void I can open the machine myself and in 5 minutes I had it working again. So what has "burnt out" how do they know the motor was "burnt out" if they never opened it? So this means they are arbitrarily dismissing claims and perfectly fine vacuums are being discarded so people will spend another R5000 on a new one every 1-2 years. When I opened the machine I knew 100% that since being made no one had opened it due to certain seals being in place.
I fixed the small issue and the vacuum is 100% like new. My complaint today is how this kind of misreporting is a ****, a warranty ****. The consumer is being promised a warranty but not ever getting one.
