Warning on purchasing products that have a warranty

Don't ever purchase a product from Takealot that includes a warranty because you may as well not have one. I returned a product due to the machine not working and they rejected it due to "normal wear and tear" and then emailed a picture with no testing of the actual product. They then returned the product to someone else's address (not mine) as well. Now it is impossible to get hold of anyone there who is willing to assist. Call center number is also impossible to get through to. Never had such shocking service.
