Waiting for nothing

I ordered from takealot and got a message that my order would arrive the next day before 5. The order was due to be delivered to my work. So on the day I stayed later waiting for my order. I stay an hours drive from my place of work where the order was due to be delivered, so going home and coming back is not an option. Imagine my frustration when after waiting almost 2 hours at work I get a message saying there is no one to collect the order and the delivery will be rescheduled. All while im waiting at the delivery adres. I phoned takealot and asked them to phone the courier and have him come back. The response i got was that they can't get hold of the driver they will send him back. Thus I would need to wait around longer im case they get hold of him. In response I asked for the couriers number which no one answers. So by this time im waiting over two hours for nothing. All because the courier was too lazy to do his last stop. He didnt even have the decency to call me and tell me he is at the delivery spot, that is how i know he wasnt even there. If he was reception would have called me as well. This is highly unacceptable and a watse of my time
