After my disappointing experience with Takealot during the Black Friday period I decided to give them another shot, I now regret this.

I started my journey around the 5th ordering four items, I put on my delivery details for my "promised" delivery which was due on the 7th.

Not only did they cancel one of my items without my knowledge but the delivery did not arrive on the 7th.. or the 8th and was not scheduled to arrive on the 9th either.

So, I decided to give up and change my order to collection, which was also not an enjoyable experience.

I went there today with my brother and his order was ready within a few seconds. I was sure to receive my items soon but this was not the case. After over 30 minutes I gave up and left. I received an SMS about 20 minutes later, meaning I would have had to wait just under an hour.

I am now going AGAIN tomorrow, and hopefully things turn out better.

If you are considering using Takealot then I suggest you have the patience of a saint.
