Very disgusting service

I purchased a George and Mason Dinner set from Takelot on the 13/01/2022 and collected on the 17/01/2022 at Waterkloofridge. On inspection of the item I did realised that the mugs are not properly attached to the handles, some of the plates are defective and some cereal bowl has a crack. I then logged a refund on the same day. On the (20/01/22) the was then received at the return evaluation facility. Then out of the blue, on the 24/01/22 ) when I was tracking my return, I got a message says “Return declined after product evaluation, Refer to email communication”. Firstly I have never received any email correspondence regarding the return from Takealot. When I call their customer service call centre, one is put on hold for over 10min thereafter the phone goes dead. I would not recommend anyone to purchase from them as they are ***********. Totally unprofessional.
