VERY BAD SERVICE

I bought an iPhone screen protector at Takealot. However, after I had already placed this order, I saw a combo of the screen protector and cover which I bought also because the delivery date was much closer than that of the other screen protector I have bought earlier. When the screen protector was ultimately delivered I had already taken delivery of the other screen protector and cover combo. I therefore no longer had need for this screen protector. So, when I got to the collection point, I opened the box not to take the screen protector but to lodge a return which I was told I should do. I did so immediately and did not handle that screen protector. I lodged a return on the 21st of May 2024 with two references to date #***3 & #***3. I've been in contact on email with the following Takealot staff without my refund being concluded: Adam H, 15 July 2024 Razinah P, 2 ,3 & 13 July 2024 Ncumisa N, 8 June 2024 & 2 July 2024 Coceka J - 5 ,7 ,8 June 2024 & 2 July 2024 Kent D - 31 May 2024, 5 June 2024

I was told they have returned the screen protector to me, but to date it is not delivered. Then Adam H communicates that I must wait for it again today. Why must I suffer the inefficiency of Takealot and their curriers for over a month and two weeks? I wonder why I still buy at Takealot...Daniel

Today Takealot has delivered a package with a damaged screen at my house when I normally collect parcels at their collection point. The package is a damaged screen protector. How it got damaged is beyond me because I did not take collection of it at their collection point but rather lodged an immediate return. I only handled that screen protector in front of their staff member for the item identification to lodge a return and handed it back to him to finalize the written on his side. A quick investigation of timeframes will reflect this.
