Utter incompetence in delivery

<p>I have pre-ordered a game which Takelot guaranteed delivery on the release date. After I had noticed this morning that the item had been rescheduled for delivery 3 days later with no explanation.</p> <p> </p> <p>I called the call centre who said that the parcel was with Mr Delivery and would be delivered before 5pm, at the time of writing this it is now 5:50. I have called the call centre multiple times and have been promised on each occasion that they would contact the dispatch to ascertain what happened and would call me back. I have been called back once. Takealot used to be the last word in reliablity and customer service, I used to reccomend it to all my friends and colleages but this is the 3rd consecutive time I have had a problem with delivery. On previous occasions items werent delivered or the delivery date was disregarded entirely. Quite honestly I am disgusted that the company has fallen so far from its pristine roots.</p> <p> </p> <p>I would caution anyone to look at another online retailer before using takealot and make damn sure that Mr Delivery is never involved whatsoever.</p>
