Use of the iPad App of Takealot
Tried to buy an eBook via the iPad app of Takealot - no success ! Phoned the call centre and according to te operator it is not possible to use the App to buy any books! Can somebody tell me what is the use of the App if I can't use it to buy an ebook at Takealot

We understand your disappointment, but unfortunately we're not permitted by Apple to sell eBooks on any of our iOS devices. We've asked one of our eBooks specialists to give you a call to shed some light on the reasons for this. You are more than welcome to purchase eBooks from our website and then access them on your iPad.
