URGENT FALSE ADVERTISING

To Whom It May Concern

I purchased 3 sets of the Arts and Crafts Set 163 Piece - Includes Markers, Pencils, Pastels, Water Colours,.

The products “original” price was R490 and there was a 43% discount. It was on sale for R279 as a daily deal.

Upon check out I was charged R279 for one set, it states that there is one deal per customer. Firstly please advise where does it state this on the Takealot app or online that it is one deal per customer as I could not find this disclosure.

I was then charged R299 each at normal price for the other two sets. If this is the normal price it means that you falsely advertised the “list price as R490”

As frequent buyers on Takelaot I cannot being to express my disappointment and frustration. If R299 is the normal price as stated on my purchase order this means that I was **********!!! Should I not have been charges 43% off the R299 instead a this was advertised normal price?

List price and normal price may mean something different to you as the company but not to me as the consumer.

I am considering taking further action by lodging a formal complaint with the CPA. I have also registered the complaint on Hello Peter.

My husband purchases from you guys on a monthly basis from his Takealot account, we are now considering doing our online buying elsewhere due to this deception. How are you going to rectify this? An apology will not suffice!

If no feedback is received by the close of business I will then go to all social media.
