Upset and disappointed with Takealot

I bought Monty and me cat food 5kg. I didn't inspect the package when it came. Trusting that Takealot is not sending me a tampered with package. Some days later when my cat food was up, I noticed the bag had a hole on top in one of the fold. Not easily detected unless you're opening it. In my frustration as my cat didn't have food and afraid of using this opened package,I contacted Takealot. They took the package and came back having declined my complain with no valid explanation other than the time period had lapsed by a few days. I hate the fact that they delivered the package knowing fully well it has a hole. The package came as it was not in a box. I sent it back in a box. They refused to refund my money, telling me they're sending back the package. I'm utterly disappointed and very upset with Takealot.
