Unusually poor service from Takealot.

I've used Takealot for a long time now and, depsite some inefficiences, they are generally OK and I like the convenience of being to buy just about anything from them. But on the 3rd of May I order two packs of light bulbs and a case of beer. 9 days later, it still hasn't been delivered, with absolutely no communication from them. Their website on my order says they are waiting for their supplier? I assume that is for the light bulbs - not the beer! It raises many questions - such as, why can't they deliver what they have in stock and not delay the whole order? Why haven't I been informed of such a long delay? Pick 'n Pay ASAP or Checkers 60Sixty would have delivered the beer within an hour! 9 days is a long time to wait for beer! If they didn't have stock, please let us know so that we can source what we need elsewhere. They should be given one star for this terrible service, but I've given them two stars, because as mentioend earlier, they are generally OK but I hope this is not the start of a trend with them. Reading other reviews on Hello Peter about Takealot is horrifying - they only get an average rating of 1.86 out of 5. It does make you wonder if Takealot management are doing anything to improve their service and now Amazon is available in South Africa, I suspect Takelot may suffer.
