Untruthful about warranty period
On the 18th of December 2014 I bought my brother a VERY expensive pair of Beats PowerBeats headphones from Kalahari (now Takealot) as a Christmas gift. Recently all the inline controls (volume, skip, rewind buttons) all stopped functioning. I logged a return/replacement on the Takealot website. On checking back on the website today I noticed that the return had been cancelled. When i phoned to confirm I was told that this product only has a 1 year warranty.
However in the warranty card that came in the box of this product it CLEARLY states that this product has a 2 year warranty from the date of retail purchase.

Takealot appear to be taking a FAT chance here in the hope that we may have thrown the box and warranty card away and therefore have no proof of a 2 year warranty.

This is the 3rd time we have had poor service from Takealot and quite frankly has left us with no faith in this rather poorly run retailer.
