Unsatisfactory after sales service

In response to the mail below, I see that a R100 has been deducted off the initial purchase price of the item ( R350, see attached payment mail ) . Note that I was not clearly informed of any substantive deduction based on the pick-up of the incorrect item I purchased as reflected on your Takealot website.

Since I did indicate that the item was not what it was portrayed to be(i.e.. under the category of not what I ordered ), I don’t see why I should be so heavily penalised as a customer. Note further that if it was clearly communicated, I would have been happy to drop off the incorrect item at a branch just up from my home in Midrand ( if the delivery charge was an added cost deduction factor ).

This is quite disappointing and I do hope that my concern around this matter is considered.
