unroadworthy takealot vehicles on our roads!

Writing a review on behalf of a sibling regarding a vehicle accident which involved a takealot Atul 3 wheeler.

So my youngest sister went to go pick up a fast food order last night (25/10/2018) in Atterbury Valuemart at around 20H00. On her way back home, in Olympus, traveling on Atterbury Road between Soloman Mahlangu and Olympus drive, which is a road that has absolutely no street lights and is a very dark road at night, she had an accident with an Atul 3-wheeler from takealot.

When she was driving, she was in the left lane with a car/s on her right in the right lane. She says everything was as per normal, when suddenly she noticed something infront of her in her lane. At that point she slammed on breaks but realised she wouldn't be able to stop on time, so she swerved to the left off the road to avoid this obstruction in the road ahead of her, swerving left to avoid the cars that were on her right. She ended up off the road, clipping her drivers side mirror on this obstruction. When everything came to a halt, she saw that the obstruction was an Atul 3-wheeler from takealot. She said this guy had no rear lights and wouldnt be surprised if he was stationary in the middle of the road.

When she called, we rushed there to see what had happened. This thing had no rear lights, no break lights nothing!

I want to know from takealot, HOW THE F&$% CAN YOU GUYS PUT THESE THINGS ON THE ROAD AT THAT TIME OF THE NIGHT WITH NO REAR LIGHTS, NO REFLECTIVE STICKERS OR TAPE, NOTHING?!?!?!?!! I am now sitting with a bill to replace a side mirror, WHICH IS NOT CHEAP ON A MINI COOPER, because of some stupid unroadworthy thing that can't drive faster than 20km per hour!!!

How do you guys allow such hazards on the road representing your company?!?!! Things could've been MUCH worse!!
