Unrealiable, and disgusting customer service

Absolutely disgusted by what will be my last experience with Takealot. My husband will not have a present to open on his 30th birthday thanks to their incompetence. Customer service is non-existant and even with escalation to a "team leader", no constructive solutions were put forward. I even offered to drive myself to the warehouse to collect , and then requested this R2,500 order be cancelled so that I can go to a store and buy a gift in time for his birthday. Neither suggestion considered. Gutted by this experience - a real dampener on what should have been a happy family weekend.
