Unprofessional and Unreliable service

My experience with Takealot.com was terrible!! I was interested in the Kids Travel Snack and Play Tray Set of 2 - Navy Blue. I read the reviews and saw that another customer complained of only receiving one tray instead of 2, therefor I called Takealot to confirm that it was in fact a set of 2 as the advertised and they confirmed on email that it was indeed a set of 2 trays.

On the day of delivery I received an sms saying that the delivery was moved to the following day as the courier guys couldn't find me. No one had called me, asking for directions or anything. For me it was unacceptable as if they couldn't even call me today to get my location why would they do it tomorrow. I then called Takealot and the lady told me that she would call them and try to sort it out. I also called Fast and Furious, the courier company and the lady who answered the phone was so unfriendly and kept ignoring me and speaking to someone in her office in her language. The lady from Takealot called me back and confirmed that they will delivery the package that very same day, which they did.

When I opened the package, there was only ONE tray, after they confirmed on email that it was a set of TWO. So I immediately emailed Takealot and the next day I called them so they can rectify the order. They did confirm that the seller did send the wrong order to the warehouse but that they would correct it I would 1st need to send the incorrect item back. I then requested that they should do the collection and the delivery simultaneously and they agreed to that. Everything was scheduled for the Friday and luckily they came earlier with my delivery which meant I didn't have the other tray with me. When I opened the box, there was ONLY ONE TRAY!!!! Needless to say I was clearly not happy with Takealot and if I did have the other tray with me the courier would have taken it and left me with only one tray again.

So I then called Takealot, told them the whole story again and requested that they should cancel the deliver for the other tray as I now, eventually had a full set. Which they confirmed on email they will. Only to find the courier guy here on Monday ready to collect the tray again. I then send him away, telling him that it was cancelled and that they should take it up with Talealot.

This was certainly the most unprofessional and unreliable service I have received from a company in a long time.
